YOUR FIRST LESSON

Our first lesson together will allow each of us to get to know one another and try out our teacher-student relationship. After our first lesson, neither the student nor the instructor is obligated to continue lessons if our philosophies and/or goals are not aligned.

 

Please come to your first lesson prepared to sing any song(s) that you already know well. These songs might include common folk songs, patriotic songs, songs or arias that have been a part of previous voice study, or songs used for previous solo and ensemble festivals. It is encouraged, though not required, that you provide sheet music to your instructor for the song(s) that you prepare for your first lesson.
